"In Saint Tropez" startet mit nostalgischen Gefühlen, kurz kommt ein wärmendes Gefühl von "guten, alten Zeiten" auf, Anleihen an Big Band Sound und Frank Sinatra strömen ins Ohr...Bis die Indie-Gitarren einsetzen, dann ist Uli wieder ganz in seinem Element: Indie, Folk, Westcoastrock und Pop verschmelzen in einem hymnisch angelegten Refrain, der schnell wieder in die zweite Strophe mündet. Das Spiel beginnt von vorne und wiederholt sich nach einer introspektiven Bridge abermals. Klassischer Popsong halt :)
